Hello friends,
In even more Netflix news, the streaming giant apparently has plans to trim its budget on “vanity projects,” so expect less movies like The Irishman and more content like Red Notice, The Adam Project, and basically anything that has Ryan Reynolds’ face plastered on it.
I would prefer if they did things the other way around and focused more on small quality movies, as opposed to big quantities of okay/less-than-stellar ones, but you do you, Netflix. Either way, I’ll be tuning in.
I hope you have a good weekend!

The Ipcress File
New on Amazon Prime 🍅 rating: 92%
The Ipcress File, based on the bestselling novel and earlier film of the same title, is a spy thriller set in 1960s Europe. It follows Harry Palmer, a secrent agent on a mission to recover a missing British nuclear scientist. Colorful and stylish, the throwback series is a delightful tribute to classic espionage films of the era. But it also feels nicely modern, with some nods here and there on our current political climate.
