If you’re into really ridiculous comedy, Netflix this week premiered Murderville, a detective parody by Will Arnett and starring one famous guest every episode (like Conan O’Brien). It’s a remake of the British show Murder in Successville if you’ve seen that.

This Showtime production set in the 90s stars Kevin Bacon as a corrupt Boston FBI agent. He makes an unlikely teammate for an ambitious hire played by Aldis Hodge (left below) who wants to take on corruption in the city.

If you miss watching The Wire, this might fill that gap - although it’s nowhere near as rich or hard-hitting. Produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.
