Dear friends,
In the spirit of keeping you updated with all agoodmovietowatch developments, I wanted to share with you some very exciting news.
The European Commission, the executive branch of the European Union, has awarded agoodmovietowatch a grant for its role in championing European film. This is part of the Creative Europe program, and agoodmovietowatch has been chosen as an active actor in the promotion of European movies on popular streaming services like Netflix.
The European Union will finance 60% of the coming year of agoodmovietowatch operations, and revenue from newsletter subscriptions and from the few ads we still have left will constitute the remaining 40%.
This generous support will make it possible to add many more movies to agoodmovietowatch.com, advertise the platform on social media, and get in touch with industry professionals in Europe.
And in personal news, this support allows me to get a small office for agoodmovietowatch! This is a first in 6 years of working on the project.
I really believe that this platform is necessary and needed: a portal that notes movies for their quality and not for anything else. With your support, ideas and feedback; as well as with this encouragement from the EU; the best possible version of this platform is finally seeing the light of day.
Thank you all so much for allowing us to get where we are today and to our newsletter subscribers for making it possible for us to enter into this co-financing grant.
Best,
Bilal
That’s awesome! Congratulations 🎉
Congratulations! I support you every month because without you I never would have watched great shows like I’m Sorry, Arctic, Enlightened (with that one of a kind actress Laura Den) and my favorite movie- the love story set in the meat Factory. Thanks for all your hard work!
