Dear friends,
Big changes are coming to our little beloved newsletter. Everyone will be getting fewer e-mails while receiving more recommendations.
All subscribers, paid or not, will start receiving one Friday newsletter that combines the New and Expiring e-mail with the Top Picks e-mail.Â
Paid subscribers will get an exclusive e-mail every two weeks with recommendations that score above 8.5/10: the absolute very best. These recommendations will only be visible to premium subscribers, even when they go on agoodmovietowatch.com.

Every Friday, free and paid subscribers will get a long-form newsletter with the best titles arriving and expiring on Netflix and Amazon, plus four of our top picks from popular streaming sites across the internet (two from Netflix or Amazon, and another two from elsewhere).
It’s the Wednesday and Friday newsletters bundled into one, convenient, end-of-the-week e-mail.
Paid subscribers will get the crème de la crème recommendations: movies and shows that score above 8.5/10. The Watch recommendations are all good (above 7/10), but the subscriber-only recommendations are even more so: they are the very best movies and shows we could find.
If that sounds at all interesting to you, please consider becoming a paid subscriber by clicking the link below.
Why make the change?
The idea of The Watch is a subscriber-supported source of independent recommendations. With our old set-up, some of our most useful writing (the Wednesday new and expiring e-mail), only went to paid subscribers.
We also felt that asking our paid subscribers to read two emails a week was a little much. We thought it might be best to ping you less while also offering you more.Â
If you have any feedback or ideas about this change, do let us know. It’s always nice to hear from you. All this goes live on June 10th, Friday.Â
Until then,
The team
If you really want me to subscribe, run the cash transactions for the U.S. through a U.S. bank. I have tried multiple times to subscribe, but my card companies will not allow pre-approved monthly payments via any European bank. There are simply too many scams operating in Europe. It's not an America centric thing—they refuse them from California and six other U.S. states as well.
Hello When I look at a goodmovietowatch.com, it lists Hidden Gems for subscribers but I am already a subscriber. Any suggestions to unlock the Hidden Gems? Thank you.
