Dear friends,
Merry Christmas. It’s difficult for me to stick to a theme for these newsletters (like Christmas movies for example), so like every other week, this one just has the best things that have recently become available.
However, if you’re looking for something to watch with kids - Back to the Outback is a new comedy-animation on Netflix that they would probably love. And for adults - Netflix’s new star-packed Don’t Look Up is a good holiday blockbuster that I enjoyed watching this morning.
I hope you have a great weekend.

Juliette Binoche stars in this French drama about Claire, a 50-year-old woman who creates a fake Facebook profile pretending to be 24 to stalk her ex.
To get to him, she first sends a friend request to his best friend, Alex. The two of them develop an emotional connection from texting that keeps building up without any good foreseeable outcome.
Who You Think I Am does the smart thing and steps out of the 21st-century premise and becomes about Claire’s conception of loves and relationships. There is a chance that people who are not fans of French dramas find this boring - but that can’t happen if like me you’re content to just see Binoche excel at yet another role.
